Job Title: SEN Tutor - Lydney

We are seeking an experienced SEN Tutor to join our team at Young Giants Ltd in Lydney, Gloucestershire. As a SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one tuition and mentoring to learners with special educational needs.

About the Role:
  • Deliver tuition to young people with SEN, including ASD/ASC, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Work closely with our team to assess and maintain effective and needs-based programmes of education support
  • Commit to a fixed termly timetable and ensure consistency for our learners
  • Travel to learners' locations in Lydney, Gloucestershire
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or strong youth work experience/qualification
  • Minimum 2 years teaching or mentoring learners with SEND in schools, youth groups, or private settings
  • Enhanced DBS on the DBS Update system or willingness to have one carried out at a cost of £53.20
  • Secure understanding of safeguarding
