Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective warehouse operations to ensure the segregation and labelling of stock, preventing contamination and mix-ups.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory listings in Excel spreadsheets.
- Assign stock keeping locations and update inventory records regularly.
- Plan and coordinate monthly and annual inventory counts.
- Manage resources and manpower for stock container deliveries and inventory count activities.
- Implement controls and measures to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Monitor inventory shelf life and prepare reports to flag potential risks.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Develop and implement operational procedures.
- Ensure the effective and safe use of warehouse equipment and racking systems.
- Leadership experience in a warehouse environment (minimum 3 years).
- Experience in process improvement related to quality, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.
- Intermediate Excel skills and other Microsoft packages.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Demonstrable warehouse management experience.
- Strong people management experience.
- Proactive and can-do attitude.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
