Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Management Engineer to join our client's expanding team on a contract basis. As a Supply Chain Management Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing, implementing, and managing vehicle parts sourcing using corporate and ad-hoc systems.
- Conducting due diligence for supplier sourcing, ensuring all suppliers meet client standards.
- Setting up supply chain routes, working with internal logistics support to gain efficiency.
- Managing internal stock, ensuring counts are up to date to protect programs.
- Monitoring and developing roadmaps for supply chain improvements, implementing them and coaching the team through the change.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of Corporate PC-based MP&L programs and software packages.
- A high level of presentation and communication to senior executives.
- Engineering degree in a relevant subject or equivalent.
- Special Vehicle/prototype parts sourcing, procurement, and delivery experience.
