Job Summary:

Gulhuset Design is seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Hardware Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of high-performance RF hardware for our self-protection systems installed on fast jet, UAV, land, and naval platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test RF hardware components and systems.
  • Develop and implement corrective design changes, qualification, verification, and product life cycle support.
  • Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) for various products, including documentation and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to other team members to promote a culture of best practice sharing and knowledge exploitation.
  • Support the IPTs with guidance and direction to identify, mitigate, or resolve technical issues within projects.

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of test and integration over a wide selection of different RF/Microwave Electronic products.
  • Experience in testing RF and Microwave Designs with integrated Digital and High Speed driver controls.
  • Experience of proposing and implementing design changes to RF/Microwave products and/or test methods.
  • A wide breadth of experience with the latest test equipment and able to work independently with limited guidance.
  • Experience of using RF modeling tools (e.g., ADS, Microwave Office) to investigate unexpected test results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to produce reports and work to test and design procedures.
  • Either a HNC/HND or Undergraduate Degree (Electronic Engineering, Physics, or Applied Physics) or equivalent experience.
