Position Overview

THIS POSITION IS A 12 MONTH FTC MATERNITY COVER

The Equities Trade Operations Specialist will become part of a reputable Asset Management organization, tasked with overseeing all operational facets of Trade Matching and Settlements, encompassing both pre-matching and late settlements.

The specialist will be accountable for trade matching across various asset classes with external counterparties, placing a significant emphasis on Equities.

In this role, the specialist will assist in managing failed trades, collaborating with clients and brokers to resolve such issues effectively.

Additionally, the specialist will be responsible for manually instructing non-STP trades.

Maintaining Omgeo Alert and SS&C databases regarding standard settlement instructions is also a key responsibility, alongside managing the Fund/Country settlement matrix of authorized markets for managed accounts.

The specialist will handle daily processing of subscriptions and redemptions across funds, in addition to undertaking Ad Hoc project work as required.

Candidate Profile

Experience in Trade Settlements or Trade Matching with a solid operational understanding of equities is essential.

A working knowledge of Omgeo CTM or experience with a similar trade matching system is required.

Familiarity with the LVTS Longview Portfolio Management System and Beauchamp Accounting System would be advantageous, though not mandatory.

Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial.

The ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively is necessary.

A commitment to taking responsibility and demonstrating dedication to the role is expected.

The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, capable of assimilating new information efficiently.
