Poultry Hatchery Technician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Poultry Hatchery Technician to contribute to our operations at Avara Foods.
Benefits:

Working Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Role Responsibilities:
As a key member of the Hatchery Team, your role will involve essential tasks that are vital to our operations.
Main Duties Include:
- Sorting chicks into specified grades and quantities for delivery to farms
- Assisting with the transfer of eggs from storage to incubators and subsequently to hatchers
- Maintaining cleanliness of all equipment to meet high standards
- Upholding biosecurity measures and adhering to strict protocols
- Monitoring bird welfare and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
Candidate Requirements:
- Proficient in English with basic numeracy skills
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Keen attention to detail and a flexible approach to tasks
- Previous experience is a plus, but not mandatory as thorough training will be provided

Due to Bird Welfare regulations, it is crucial that candidates do not own any Avian Pets or Poultry.
