Job Description

CORE POWER (UK) Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Motion Designer to join our dynamic team in the London office. The successful candidate will be working within the Marketing team to create 2D and 3D motion graphics that captivate our audience and drive engagement, bringing campaigns to life.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate and versatile Motion Designer who can collaborate well within a team, can confidently communicate creative decisions to senior leaders, and provides the technical skill and design flair to complete work independently to the highest standards. This person would also be working closely with our technical team and mechanical engineers to create lifelike videos and animations using 3D models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating visually stimulating motion graphics and animations for various digital media platforms bringing our 3D renders and drawings to life
  • Incorporating typography, vector animation, visual effects, and sound design to enhance the overall impact and engagement of motion graphic content
  • Adapting and optimizing motion graphics for different screen sizes and resolutions to ensure seamless playback on various devices
  • Demonstrating a keen eye for detail, image composition, and excellent knowledge of motion design concepts and principles
  • Contributing to the creative process by bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to the table, contributing to the overall success of the marketing team
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering projects on time
  • Working closely with the graphic designer to conceptualize and storyboard motion graphic projects that align with brand guidelines and project objectives
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project goals, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions to achieve the desired creative vision
  • Staying updated with industry trends and best practices, continuously refining skills, and exploring new techniques
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Graphic Design or related degree in visual communications, motion design, or interactive design
  • 3-4 years' experience in motion design and animation
Desired Skills/Experience:
  • Understanding of marketing channels and the various purposes and needs for each
  • Ability to bring a story to life through video and animation
  • Strong portfolio showcasing both 2D and 3D motion graphics
  • Strong knowledge of 3DS Max/Maya or C4D or Blender
  • Extensive experience across the Adobe Creative Suite: After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Understanding of design principles such as layout, typography, and color theory
