About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Studio Lead to join our Architecture team in Birmingham. As a Studio Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of architects and designers, driving the success of the studio, and delivering high-quality projects to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of architects and designers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive the growth and success of the studio, including business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to deliver projects that meet the needs of our clients and exceed their expectations.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the local market, including trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure the studio remains competitive and compliant.
Requirements
  • Qualified Architect with ARB registration.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong business development and marketing skills, with the ability to develop and implement strategies to drive growth and success.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and lead, inspire, and motivate teams to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Experience in preparing successful bids and tenders, with a strong understanding of the local market and its requirements.
  • Ability to confidently engage with clients and stakeholders, with a strong understanding of their needs and expectations.
