As a Senior Operations Manager at Ocado Logistics, you will be responsible for leading a regional team and driving business results. Your key objectives will include:
- Inspiring and leading your team to achieve exceptional results.
- Setting and achieving regional and stream strategies through proactive management.
- Developing and integrating new managers to foster a high-performing team.
- Ensuring operational excellence through coaching, training, and development.
- Acting as a role model in culture, people management, and professional behavior.
- Preparing and managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing resources.
- Managing relationships with internal and external customers to exceed service expectations.
- Implementing new locations and ensuring compliance with company and legal guidelines.
- Monitoring and enhancing health and safety practices.
About You:
To be successful in this position, you should have:
- Strong customer service skills and people management experience.
- Knowledge of enterprise resource planning policies, team building, fleet management, and budgeting.
- Background in distribution, fleet, or logistics management.
- Current UK driving license with a clean record.
- CPC international qualification and experience with an operator's license.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Ocado systems.
