Job Title: Domestic Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out cleaning tasks to meet the needs of the area, including operating machinery and moving equipment as required.
• Ensure the correct use, security, and storage of cleaning equipment and materials, maintaining stock levels and using them appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure a close working relationship with Ward/Departmental Housekeepers.
• Work Monday to Friday, 6am to 10am, to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Person Specification:
• Essential: Cleaning experience, general standard of education, and basic IT skills to complete Trust e-learning.
• Desirable: Experience in undertaking cleaning tasks in a hospital environment, health and safety level 1, knowledge of cleaning methods and processes, and customer care training.
