This role will involve supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of students in a classroom setting, working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance.

Responsibilities:

* Support students with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development
* Assist students with mental health needs in a classroom setting
* Work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance
* Build positive relationships with students, helping them to develop confidence and resilience
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teaching team

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with children or young people with mental health needs or SEN is essential
* A compassionate and patient approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Teaching Assistant certification or equivalent) are desirable but not mandatory
