Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Setting-Out Engineer to join our team. As a Setting-Out Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are executed with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Setting Out Coordinates: You will be responsible for setting out coordinates from engineers' drawings, site surveys, and as-built drawings.
  2. Quality Control: You will check plans, drawings, and specifications for accuracy to ensure that our projects meet the highest standards.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: You will liaise with clients, team members, and sub-contractors as necessary to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  4. Reporting and Record-Keeping: You will provide regular status reports and updates to Senior Management and maintain accurate site records.
  5. Professional Development: You will develop and maintain professional working relationships with all personnel and ensure that all works are carried out to the highest quality standards.
  6. Health and Safety: You will maintain a health and safety-conscious approach to your work.

Requirements

  1. Education: You will have a Civil Engineering degree or related discipline.
  2. Experience: You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in setting out or as a site engineer.
  3. Skills and Attributes: You will have highly motivated with excellent communication and organisation skills, and be proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total station, and levelling equipment.
  4. Software Skills: You will have working knowledge of Autocad, Revit, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
  5. Continuous Learning: You will be willing to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.
