Overview
As part of a dynamic team in a vibrant environment, you will be integral in delivering exceptional service to our visitors.
Working Hours: This position is an hourly paid, temporary role, typically involving around 24 hours per week. While we strive to maintain a consistent schedule, flexibility is essential as adjustments may be required to meet operational needs. Your shifts will be from Thursday to Sunday, with hours from 8am to 2pm.
Compensation: £11.50 per hour
Contract Length: This is a short-term, 6-month contract to provide coverage for staff absence.
Work Environment
As a member of the Business Services and Facilities Team, consisting of six individuals, you will engage both indoors and outdoors within a stunning country estate and its picturesque grounds.
In your role as a Site Operations Coordinator, you will frequently interact with visitors who may seek directions or inquire about the estate's history and natural surroundings. Under the guidance of the Facilities Coordinator, you will demonstrate flexibility and a proactive approach, especially during peak times when additional support is needed.
Key Responsibilities
In the capacity of Site Operations Coordinator, your primary duties will include maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the National Trust's facilities and outdoor areas. You will engage in various cleaning tasks and minor repairs to ensure that all facilities are in optimal condition. Additionally, you may assist with manual tasks such as receiving deliveries.
Core responsibilities will encompass cleaning, sweeping, and litter collection, both inside and outside. You will uphold the highest standards of visitor service by adopting a 'customer-first' mindset. General maintenance tasks and collaboration with other teams will also be part of your responsibilities.
