Job Summary

eFinancialCareers is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Credit Research to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our credit research team and providing expert analysis to inform investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Credit Research Team: Manage, oversee, and train a team of credit researchers to ensure the delivery of high-quality research and analysis.
  • Conduct In-Depth Credit Research: Conduct thorough and in-depth fundamental credit research on Emerging Market corporate bonds to inform investment decisions.
  • Provide Relative Value Recommendations: Provide expert recommendations to portfolio managers across the capital structure to optimize investment returns.
  • Present Investment Ideas: Present investment ideas to the Investment Committee and Portfolio Managers, and actively participate in portfolio decisions and discussions.

Requirements

  • Education: Hold an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 2.1 honors.
  • Academic Background: Possess an excellent academic background in Finance, with a preference for CFA or Masters qualifications.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of 15 years of experience in credit research, ideally on the buy-side.
  • Emerging Market Expertise: Possess strong experience in Emerging Market credit research across Investment Grade and High Yield corporate bonds.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present research and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Personal Qualities: Be passionate, driven, and possess a high level of attention to detail.
  • Language Skills: Be fluent in English, with additional European language skills desirable.
