We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Animal Management Instructor to join our team at Windsor Forest Colleges Group.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and assessment in animal management courses, supervising students on the Animal Centre, and leading the development and monitoring of practical skills. Additionally, they will support lecturers and technicians in delivering units and professional development sessions, assist with the management of animal welfare and daily care, and maintain accurate records using ZIMS and other record-keeping methods.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver instruction and assessment in animal management courses
- Supervise students on the Animal Centre
- Lead the development and monitoring of practical skills
- Support lecturers and technicians in delivering units and professional development sessions
- Assist with the management of animal welfare and daily care
- Maintain accurate records using ZIMS and other record-keeping methods
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also be required to maintain safe-working practices, adhere to college regulations and health and safety procedures, and contribute to the development of the animal management curriculum and Animal Centre.
