Position Overview

Square in the Air is seeking a skilled Lead Client Relations Executive to enhance our team of Social Media specialists. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in delivering sports-focused content for a diverse range of international sports and gaming brands.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of the Social Media division, you will contribute to our social media strategy and produce high-quality, innovative, and timely content for our clientele. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and crafting content for client social media profiles
  • Creating captivating, imaginative, and original content for clients
  • Designing, executing, and optimizing paid social media campaigns across various platforms
  • Collaborating with our design team to coordinate social media visuals
  • Partnering with other departments to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients
  • Evaluating social media initiatives and compiling data for reporting
  • Identifying and negotiating with influencers for campaign involvement
  • Monitoring, developing, and preparing reports
  • Assisting Community Managers during out-of-hours shifts

Essential Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong enthusiasm for sports, with a comprehensive understanding of UK, European, and major global sporting events.
  • Extensive knowledge of leading social media platforms, including analytics, audience segmentation, and advocacy of various advertising formats, as well as tailored content planning (both paid and organic).
  • Expertise in supporting client proposals by developing and implementing creative content that aligns with clients' business and branding goals.
  • Strong decision-making abilities, supported by proficiency in analysis and the measurement/optimization of content performance.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills that go beyond attention to detail, reflecting the principles of driving traffic/engagement through concise calls-to-action and compelling, on-brand tone of voice.
  • A passion for social media, with a deep understanding of its value for both B2C and B2B, while collaborating with PR and Design to deliver multi-platform strategies efficiently.
  • Confidence in presenting insights and managing multiple fast-paced accounts concurrently.
  • Basic skills in video production, graphic design, and video editing.
  • Familiarity with Google AdWords and the fundamentals of SEO/SMO.
  • A keen interest in the UK sports betting landscape.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Social Media marketing for brands, whether in an agency or in-house setting.

Work Environment

  • This position is based in our London office, with a hybrid working model that includes at least two days in the office and the remainder working remotely.
  • Standard working hours are 40 hours per week, with flexible start and finish times.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard hours during evenings and weekends, compensated with overtime pay and time off in lieu.
