Aston Charles Ltd is a leading provider of insurance services, offering a range of products to individuals and businesses. We are seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join our team, working on our BTE (Before The Event) Legal Expenses Claims Team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Claims Handler to join our team, responsible for assessing and managing indemnity provided to policyholders for the purpose of pursuing/defending a range of legal action, including employment, property, and contractual disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate the validity of claims and negotiate cost funding with solicitors
  • Manage claims from start to conclusion, ensuring compliance with policy terms and conditions
  • Provide efficient claims handling services to all customers, responding to LEI claims using excellent written and call handling skills
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of seniority to resolve claims

Requirements:

  • Legal qualification (Degree or A Level)
  • Professional work experience, with honed communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders
  • Full training will be provided, and a mentor will be assigned to build knowledge and confidence within the Legal Expenses market
