We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic PE and Sport Mentor to join our team on a part-time, sessional basis. As a key member of our Community Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE and sport programs to children, young people, and adults across North Essex.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver PE and sport programs in community, football, and school environments.
- Build positive relationships with participants, teachers, and parents/guardians to maximize the impact of our programs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our Education, Participation, and Health & Inclusion programs.
- Evaluate participant and player development, and provide feedback to improve program delivery.
- NGB level 2 Coaching Award (e.g., UEFA C Football Coaching License or Level 2 Multi Skills Coaching Award) or working towards.
- FA Safeguarding Children Certificate.
- FA Introduction to First Aid Certificate.
- Willing to undertake a CUFC Enhanced DBS Check.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Relevant experience delivering PE and sport programs in school, football, or community settings.
- Understanding of the Primary PE & PSHE National Curriculum.
- Understanding of the Secondary PSHE National Curriculum.
- A range of NGB Coaching qualifications.
- 20 Days Annual Leave per calendar year + Bank Holidays.
