We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 5 ICU Nurse to join our dynamic team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 5 ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 ICU Nurse to develop their skills and experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be working with a team of experienced nurses and healthcare professionals to provide care to critically ill patients, and will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and take on additional responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide education and support to junior staff members, promoting a culture of learning and development.
- Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
- Experience working in an Intensive Care Unit or similar critical care environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a desire to develop leadership skills and take on additional responsibilities.
