Rutherford Briant is seeking an experienced Tax Director to lead our Tax service line. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth, managing tax deadlines, and working closely with clients to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Tax service line, making strategic decisions to drive revenue growth and headcount expansion.
- Manage and prepare tax returns, including Personal and Corporate Tax elements, to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Assist with drafting Statutory accounts, focusing on taxation notes and disclosures for review by the accounting team.
- Work on various tax-related projects, including CT returns, Transfer pricing, VAT, Personal tax returns, ERS submissions, R&D tax credit, P11D's, and PSA submissions.
- Liaise with HMRC on clients' behalf to ensure efficient and accurate processing of client returns.
- Relevant qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA, would be advantageous.
- Extensive experience in Tax, including Corporate Tax, Personal Tax, and VAT.
- Ability to work directly with clients to retain and win business.
- Ability to collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to make strategic decisions regarding business growth.
