As a Tax Director at Rutherford Briant, you will have the opportunity to lead a Tax service line and make strategic decisions around growth. You will work directly with clients to retain and win business, and collaborate with the wider Senior Leadership Team to drive the growth of the business.

The role involves managing and preparing tax deadlines and returns, including Personal and Corporate Tax elements. You will also assist with drafting Statutory accounts with regard to taxation notes and disclosures for review by the accounting team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Running the Tax service line and making key strategic decisions around growth
  • Managing and preparing tax deadlines and returns
  • Assisting with drafting Statutory accounts
  • Liaising with HMRC on clients' behalf

Requirements for the role include:

  • Relevant qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA
  • Wide Tax experience, including Corporate Tax, Personal Tax, and VAT
  • Ability to work directly with clients and retain and win business
  • Ability to work with the wider Senior Leadership Team
