Are you a skilled mentor in behavioral support? We have an opportunity for you.

  • Full-time role (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM)
  • Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision
  • Immediate availability required
  • Focus on behavioral, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) needs tailored to each classroom
  • Must have resided in the UK for the past six months
  • Current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one

This educational institution supports students who are deemed at risk or vulnerable, addressing a variety of complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, and mental health challenges.

You will collaborate in small class settings with a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Class Teacher in delivering effective lessons
  • Motivate and engage students in educational activities
  • Serve as a positive role model
  • Provide one-on-one support to students requiring additional assistance
  • Implement behavior management strategies to de-escalate challenging situations

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK or UK residency
  • Minimum six months of residency in the UK
  • Overseas criminal clearance or willingness to apply for one if necessary
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
  • Prior experience working with children with special educational needs

All quoted pay rates will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the potential for a permanent role in the future.
