We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Work Based Assessor in Health. As a key member of our Health & Social Care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training, assessment, and quality assurance to learners in the workplace setting.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, retain, and complete a standardised caseload of learners enrolled on Health & Social Care qualifications.
- Deliver training, assessment, and quality assurance of learners' work, ensuring compliance with qualification requirements.
- Meet with learners and employers in different workplace settings, predominantly remotely, with some travel expected.
- Plan visits in a logical manner, making the best use of time and providing resources and support to meet individual learner needs.
- Represent the Health & Social Care team and promote courses offered to encourage recruitment.
- Teach small group workshop sessions in Health & Social Care, where beneficial.
- Ability to provide a high-quality service to learners, meeting their needs and expectations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of Health & Social Care qualifications and assessment processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
