About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Tutor to join our dynamic team at Powertutors. As a SEND Tutor, you will play a crucial role in the education and development of students with a variety of special educational needs.

You will have the opportunity to work with students of all age groups, tailoring your approach to meet their individual learning needs. Our team is committed to fostering growth, well-being, and empowering every student to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver creative, interactive, and engaging lessons tailored to the needs of SEND students.
  • Collaborate with parents to ensure a supportive and effective learning environment at home.
  • Utilize innovative teaching techniques to enhance the learning experience and promote academic success.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of special education practices and strategies.
  • Work with a variety of special educational needs, adapting your methods to suit each student's requirements.
  • Foster an inclusive and diverse learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of your students.

  • A strong background in special education, with proven experience working with students with SEND.

  • Relevant qualifications in education or a related field (e.g., QTS, SENCO, or equivalent).
