About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at The Range. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service in our stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example and inspire our retail colleagues to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee the implementation of company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Manage the reconciliation and banking of all store revenues, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Conduct regular trading standards compliance checks to maintain high standards.
- Monitor and optimize store email system usage, Point Of Sale/price indicators, and stock management processes.
- Process incoming and outgoing stock, damaged stock, and customer orders efficiently.
- Ensure accurate and timely stock inventory counts, inter-store transfers, and payroll procedures.
- Develop and implement new starter induction programs, reference checks, and adherence to cash office procedures.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant experience within a retail environment, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
