Progress Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Progress Assistant to join our team at Co-op Academies Trust. As a Progress Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of our students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement agreed work programmes and intervention strategies with individuals or groups of SEND students
  • Assist teachers in planning and management, preparing resources as needed
  • Act as a key worker for a small group of students, liaising with teaching staff and parents to ensure effective communication and learning

Requirements:

  • Relate well to young people and collaborate effectively with other adults
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to use initiative
  • Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude
