Job Title: Longevity and Reinsurance Actuary

At Signet Resources, we are seeking an experienced Actuary to lead our Longevity and Reinsurance team. As a key member of our Actuarial Function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing capital models, conducting reinsurance pricing activities, and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage capital models for longevity and reinsurance risk
  • Conduct reinsurance pricing activities, including negotiations with reinsurers
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead projects related to longevity, assumption setting, and capital models
  • Manage junior members of the team and provide guidance on technical aspects of models and experience analysis
  • Contribute to the risk management function of the business from a BPA perspective
Requirements:
  • Qualified Actuary with experience in capital modelling and profit testing
  • Strong knowledge of UK Defined Benefit Pensions and reinsurance structures
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to communicate technical issues to senior stakeholders
  • Experience of managing stakeholders at all levels
