About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy Specialist to join our team at PA Consulting. As a Data Privacy Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate the complex world of data protection and privacy laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in delivering data privacy projects, including conducting risk assessments, developing compliance strategies, and implementing data protection policies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on data protection and privacy laws, providing guidance and support to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their data protection and privacy requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data protection and privacy laws, including the CCPA, EU GDPR, and Privacy Shield.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, security, and compliance, to ensure that data protection and privacy requirements are integrated into all aspects of our clients' businesses.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in delivering projects focused on data protection and privacy laws in the private sector.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant data protection and privacy laws and regulations, including the CCPA, EU GDPR, and Privacy Shield.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data protection and privacy issues and develop effective solutions.
