Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide a dedicated team of TDP Engineers, managing resources and tasks effectively, while delegating work packages and fostering their professional growth through objective setting and performance reviews.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation to support engineering solutions, including drawings, models, and other technical outputs, adhering to established standards and practices.
- Establish and maintain configuration control of both existing and new data, ensuring compliance with the Configuration Management requirements of the relevant contracts.
- Ensure that the Technical Data Pack outputs meet the necessary quality standards through proper drawing disciplines, modeling techniques, and accurate CAD and PLM metadata.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
- In-depth knowledge of drawing standards, engineering, and quality standards, including the application of geometric tolerances.
- Proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD modeling, assembly, and drawing, preferably using tools such as CREO Parametrics, AutoCAD, and GTXImage.
- Strong understanding of configuration management and revision control, with insights into the integration of CAD, Product Lifecycle Management systems (e.g., Teamcenter), and Enterprise Resource Planning systems (e.g., SAP).
- Familiarity with technical office processes and standards, including Business Management System (BMS) and Life Cycle Model (LCM).
