Maintenance Supervisor Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Renewi. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of site-based engineers to ensure planned and reactive maintenance is carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Liaise with the wider site management team to ensure issues are communicated, priorities and actions are understood, and updates are provided to your team.
- Assist operations in completing a weekly/monthly maintenance schedule for all planned, unplanned and emergency work orders.
- Drive and lead solutions to prevent reoccurrence of maintenance issues on site.
- Assist in mechanical and electrical plant upgrades as assigned by Lifecycle Team Manager to ensure CLEER/Capex forms are completed on time and effectively.
Requirements:
- Electrically and mechanically trained, with time served experience working in a production environment, fault finding and diagnostics, reactive breakdown repairs, planned maintenance work orders.
- Possess a diploma or HNC/HND/C+G Electrical Engineering, HNC/HND/C+G Mechanical Engineering (or industry equivalent).
- Born leader with the ability to build and maintain strong, cohesive relationships at all levels.
- High energy and positive attitude.
- Excellent understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Ideal experience working within the waste industry, but experience in other process based industries such as waste water, manufacturing, quarrying etc would be considered.
- Ability to multi task.
