About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Safety Technician to join our Property Safety team at Together Housing. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular fire safety assessments and implement remedial actions to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues on building safety matters.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of building safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective communication and coordination on building safety matters.
  • Monitor and report on building safety compliance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of building safety regulations, particularly around fire safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Technical aptitude and proficiency in using IT systems, including MS Office applications.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence.
