Are you an experienced Driver Operations Manager or Transport Manager looking to make a significant impact? In collaboration with the Distribution Site Lead, you will play a vital role in our Management team, inspiring and guiding a talented group of Team Managers while overseeing budgets and shaping the driver operations strategy.

Key Qualifications
- Solid understanding and experience in distribution management
- Proficient in SAP, particularly the ERP module
- Familiarity with Distribution systems, processes, Operator Licence, Tachograph, and WTD regulations
- Transport Management CPC certification
Role Overview
We are embarking on a journey of innovation and continuous enhancement, and you will lead the team in ensuring safe, efficient, and timely delivery of products to our customers and sites nationwide. Teamwork is essential to our culture, as you will manage a group of Driver Operations Team Managers overseeing approximately 70 Class 2 Drivers across 40 routes and 40 Class 1 Primary Drivers.
This position requires daily collaboration with the Warehouse and Distribution management teams to coordinate product collections and deliveries, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and that deliveries are made punctually while upholding customer service standards.
Leveraging your previous experience, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement, maintaining a keen focus on budget management and ensuring compliance with Company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements for vehicle maintenance.

Our Wednesbury Bakery and Distribution depot has been a cornerstone of the Black Country for nearly 25 years, with a dedicated team that is the heart of our operations. We are proud to employ nearly 400 colleagues who ensure that our freshly baked products reach families across the UK every day.
