We seek a dedicated, experienced, and enthusiastic Children's Nurse who is committed to delivering exceptional care to children and young people in community settings. A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate general paediatric experience is preferred. Ownership of a vehicle and a valid driving license are essential.

Key Responsibilities
Under the guidance of senior members of the Community Children's Nursing Service, you will:
- Facilitate the transition of children and young people from hospital to home.
- Provide specialized knowledge to address the diverse needs of patients and their families in various community and hospital environments, serving as a resource for paediatric expertise and offering guidance to other professionals while promoting evidence-based practices.
- Manage a clinical caseload within your competency scope.
- Oversee the ongoing assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of specialized nursing care in collaboration with children, young people, and their families.
- Collaborate with the broader multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure safeguarding practices are upheld.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with NMC standards.
- Execute clinical responsibilities, including medicines management, blood sampling, and administration of medications (IV, IM, S/C, and CVADs), wound management, and care for children and young people with complex health needs.
- Demonstrate effective teamwork while also being capable of working independently in patients' homes, collaborating with children, young people, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
