Position Overview: We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations at Liberty Financial Services (LFS). This pivotal role is based in London and involves steering the financial direction of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the profitability of new sales agreements throughout their duration.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of financial indicators to enhance profitability, identifying cost-saving opportunities and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Directors of LFS to refine the commercial pricing framework.
- Manage the accounting, forecasting, and budgeting processes for the entire LFS MD population, challenging expenditures and efficiency while prioritizing funding.
- Present financial insights to the Group CFO, serving as the financial expert for LFS.
- Lead financial discussions in potential mergers and acquisitions, ensuring that investments are commercially viable and have a clear path to profitability.
- Work alongside various functions, including M&A and Strategy, to promote sustainable growth.
- Regularly assess all expenditures and guide purchasing decisions across departments.
- Identify and implement technologies to improve reporting and forecasting, utilizing new tools for real-time insights.
- Employ predictive analytics to foster growth, uncover product and operational opportunities, and mitigate risks.
- Inspire a dynamic and entrepreneurial culture, encouraging adaptability and challenging conventional practices.
- Promote a commercial mindset where cost implications and revenue opportunities are considered in all sales evaluations.
- Provide leadership and coaching to LFS management teams, fostering a proactive approach to maximize opportunities and challenge existing norms.
- Develop and motivate key personnel by setting ambitious objectives and demonstrating effective leadership, building high-performance teams to support and challenge the business.
Qualifications:
- Experience in VP-level financial roles.
- Proven track record of driving change and delivering cost efficiencies through technology.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate and visualize both short-term and long-term impacts aligned with enterprise strategy.
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams and influencing strategy across the organization.
- Ability to transform data analysis into actionable business insights.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end processes and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Expertise in establishing and managing KPIs and SLAs across shared services.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders.

- Strong analytical skills with a focus on deriving high-quality insights from data.
