Kedoo is a rapidly expanding digital content enterprise specializing in the creation and distribution of professional video material. As an international digital entertainment company, Kedoo manages a diverse portfolio of children's and general entertainment content, including documentaries and drama series, across various platforms such as digital and television. With a substantial audience of 120 million subscribers and over 2 billion monthly views on YouTube worldwide, Kedoo is also a significant distributor on major streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV. The company's children's animation lineup features renowned titles such as Booba and the newly launched series Sonya From Toastville. Additionally, Kedoo operates its own animation studio and acquires top-performing animation titles globally for its FAST and YouTube channels, including Super Toons TV.

Role Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities. Research and engage new clients for Kedoo's content. Negotiate and finalize agreements with third parties, ensuring successful payment and delivery within designated territories.
  • Establish and nurture new relationships to drive business growth and support the company's expansion efforts.
  • Maintain existing client relationships. Ensure all relevant broadcasters and digital platforms in assigned regions are supported, while actively seeking to understand and meet their needs.
  • Employ critical thinking in planning to guarantee project success.
  • Increase the number of licenses with both existing and prospective clients, ensuring optimal scheduling for our content. Develop tailored availability and marketing presentations for targeted buyers, followed by diligent follow-up to secure deals.
  • Effectively demonstrate enhanced value and optimized terms for all agreements, collaborating with relevant departments such as legal, operations, marketing, and production to ensure seamless communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Act as the expert for Kedoo in assigned territories, providing insights on local market trends and strategic direction for the business.
  • Relay pertinent information from key buyers and markets to assist in future planning and project development.
  • Provide sales forecasts as needed for new projects, collaborating with all teams to establish challenging yet attainable annual sales targets.
  • Utilize analytical tools to present compelling arguments to clients and maximize effectiveness.
  • Potentially assist the Executive Vice President with business development initiatives, including FAST channel distribution and sourcing programming for acquisitions.
  • Be accountable for achieving set performance targets.
  • Engage in various tasks associated with enhancing the brand and developing a nascent sales division for a digital media company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years in content licensing, preferably within the children's entertainment sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with outstanding written and verbal proficiency in English, and ideally a second foreign language.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and successful execution of development strategies.
  • Goal-oriented and focused.
  • Strong understanding of the international media landscape, particularly in the children's sector.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through, with the ability to produce comprehensive sales reports and forecasts for management.
