Health & Safety Manager Opportunity

A leading food manufacturing organisation in North Yorkshire is seeking a skilled Health & Safety Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Operations Director, this permanent position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and maintaining a robust Health & Safety management system
  2. Creating and implementing comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures
  3. Driving the Health & Safety improvement plan forward
  4. Building relationships with external stakeholders and collaborating with internal customers
  5. Contributing to the departmental continuous improvement system

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food sector. A Certified Health & Safety professional qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels are essential. This role would suit someone with experience in an FMCG environment in a Health & Safety leadership position.
