As a Field Care Supervisor at Home Instead, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our clients and supporting our Care Professionals in their daily work.
Key Responsibilities- Client Care: Support care consultations, service reviews, and client support plans to ensure our clients receive the highest quality care.
- Staff Supervision: Conduct regular staff supervisions and client QA's to maintain high standards of care and support.
- Care Planning: Create, update, and audit client care plans, and assist with digital care planning to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client and Care Professional records on Home Instead software and People Planner.
- Client Introductions: Conduct client and Care Professional introductions to build strong relationships and ensure a smooth care experience.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
- Client Reviews: Carry out client reviews and action these accordingly to ensure our clients' needs are met.
- Care Professional Support: Support and mentor Care Professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional care.
- Client Experience: Provide support to the Client Experience team to ensure our clients receive a seamless care experience.
- Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients and Care Professionals to ensure open communication and address any concerns.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Home Instead's Equality, Diversity, and Equal Opportunities Policy, and handle on-call duties as required.
- Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Care Experience: Experience in the care sector delivering a wide range of personal care services.
- Supervisory Experience: Experience of working with MAR sheets and medication in a supervisory role.
- Care Passion: Passion for delivering the highest quality care to our clients and helping them to live independently and happily in their own homes.
- Legislation Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulations specific to Health and Social Care.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Care Technology: Must be confident to use care management technology, including providing support and training to Care Professionals.
- Confidentiality: Must understand the importance of confidentiality working within current legislation.
- IT Skills: Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office or Google Suite, and virtual communication platforms.
- Transportation: Must have a full driving license and means of transport if required within the territory to visit clients.
- Flexibility: Be organised and flexible to meet the needs of the business.
