Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Buyer and Trader to join our team in the South of England. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing supplier relationships, negotiating the purchase of waste plastic materials, and resolving logistical problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop supplier relationships in the South of England
- Negotiate the purchase of waste plastic materials
- Resolve logistical problems and queries
- Inspect and assess plastic material
- Manage and prioritize day-to-day tasks
Requirements:
- Commercial experience in the waste management/environmental service sector
- Ability to establish, develop, and nurture robust relationships with suppliers
- Confidence in resolving logistical problems and queries
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Full UK driving licence and flexible approach to working week
