Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Location: Stoke

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Weekend Only

Pay: £12.55-£13.55 per hour, £60 per sleep in

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at Lavoro Care. As a key member of our staff, you will provide essential care and support to children and young people in our residential setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for the children and young people in the home and promote their independence and wellbeing
  • Deal with challenging behaviors when needed
  • Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare
  • Maintain a safe environment for young people
  • Engage, communicate, and listen to the children and their needs
  • Work proactively to ensure the well-being of the children
  • Provide essential care and nurturing to the children
  • Maintain professional boundaries
  • Remain person-centered at all times

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience working with children and young people
  • Full driving license with access to your own vehicle
  • The legal right to work in the UK
  • Full employment history with any gaps explained
