We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Gold Group Ltd. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of projects and taking responsibility for a small team of surveyors.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all cost-related aspects of projects, including preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports, including cost forecasts, valuations, and final accounts.
- Administer contracts effectively, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions and managing any variations or changes.
- Identify and mitigate potential financial risks throughout project lifecycles.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring value for money and quality of work.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction with project delivery.
- Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, cost management software).
- A competitive salary and package, including a company car or car allowance of £5,000.
