Position Overview
Are you available for 10-15 hours each week and have free time every other weekend? If you have a passion for making a positive impact in someone's life, this role could be an excellent fit for you.
At Home Instead (East Lancashire), we take immense pride in the exceptional quality of care we deliver, supported by our award-winning training programs.
As a Caregiver with us, your daily responsibilities will vary based on the unique needs of each client. Some visits may involve providing home assistance, preparing meals, or simply spending quality time engaging in conversations or activities. Other visits could include accompanying clients on shopping trips, attending appointments, or delivering respectful personal care to help clients regain their confidence.
Required Qualifications
- No prior experience necessary; we provide comprehensive in-house training to equip you with the necessary skills.
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English are essential.
- Reliable transportation is a must for conducting home visits, running errands, and engaging in activities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities are crucial for success in this role.
- A caring disposition and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families are vital.
- Applicants must be UK residents with a valid UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
- This position does not offer working visas.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
