Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and report on internal audits to ensure compliance with NHS policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our business operations, identifying areas for improvement and recommending changes.
- Collaborate with our teams to implement audit recommendations, ensuring effective and efficient processes.
- Provide guidance and support to our staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to enhance our audit service.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in internal auditing, preferably within the public sector.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet changing priorities.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including audit software and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of NHS policies, practices, and procedures, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
