Keltbray is looking for an Auditor to oversee the audit and compliance needs of our operations in Scotland and Northern Ireland.


This role is essential in providing independent auditing support for our business units, ensuring that all necessary reports are completed promptly and submitted for review.


Primary Tasks and Duties


  • To participate in the completion of the audit plan, both internal and external
  • To ensure the necessary Keltbray Group and BU Standards are in place at all Keltbray locations.
  • To oversee both internal and external audits ensuring necessary evidence is compiled.
  • To communicate with the Heads of HSQE and relevant Operations staff, ensuring audit requirements are met and prep completed.
  • To ensure all necessary compliance reporting is completed for the Heads of HSQE and the Senior Team.
  • To manage and facilitate both internal and external audits ensuring necessary evidence is compiled.
  • To assist in the development and improvement of process with the relevant operations personnel in all areas supporting the Lead Auditor
  • To provide independent review of the BU’s systems and compliance with relevant Legislation, Standards and Company process.
  • To support the Heads of HSQE to ensure the promotion of common process across all Keltbray BU’s and the reduction of redundant process.


Secondary Tasks and Duties


  • To communicate updates/changes/improvements in both systems and working process to and with Operations and Compliance/HSQE Teams.
  • To provide independent review of the BU’s systems and compliance with relevant Legislation, Standards and Company process.
  • To provide and promote support for compliance issues from the BU’s.
  • As a team, manage and communicate with reporters and satisfactorily close any ‘Documentation’ related Keltbray Contributions.
  • Creation and updating of common evidence folders for audits.
  • Procedural reviews for all areas with a common focus ensuring all are in date, updated with the owners and changes briefed out.
  • Management of LUS and Management Reviews for all BU’s.
  • Management of NCR close out process with operations.
  • Management of the Legal Compliance and standards update Meetings
  • To complete audits as required
  • Support the Heads of HSQE
  • To manage necessary travel and location visits.
  • To ensure all necessary compliance reporting is completed for the Heads of HSQE and the Senior Team.
  • To provide and promote support for compliance issues from the BU’s.



Qualifications and Training


Essential


  • NEBOSH National General Certificate, Occupational Health and Safety
  • Internal Auditor Training
  • At least 3 years’ experience of Auditing
  • Excellent computer skills Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF
  • Approachable and helpful attitude
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of management systems
  • Willingness to travel
  • Proven ability to interact with the BU staff at all levels
  • Flexible and willing to learn how different business streams work
