About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our finance team at Corecruitment. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the month-end process, preparing timely and accurate monthly management accounts, and providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end process, ensuring timely and accurate monthly management accounts are prepared, including accompanying variance analysis and robust balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders as part of the finance function of the business.
  • Prepare weekly P&Ls for all pub outlets, ensuring variances and trends are investigated and communicated to the operations team.
  • Oversee Leasehold pub exit program accounting requirements.
  • Supervise 1 member of staff, Senior EPOS administrator.
  • Provide key support to the business in terms of financial & commercial insights.
  • Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations, following up on reconciling items and resolution of these in a timely manner.
  • Support budgeting and planning cycles.
  • Hold regular discussions with the Head of Finance and CFO with regards to risks and opportunities identified during the balance sheet review process & take a proactive approach when resolving any problems identified.
  • Manage & provide ad-hoc information and reports to internal customers, as required. Audit & various project work.

Requirements:

  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified.
  • Hospitality, ideally multi-site experience, including setting and managing budgets and forecasts, presenting analysis and sound commercial decision-making.
  • Commercial mindset & a knowledge of process improvement.
  • Excellent knowledge of Budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling.
  • Excellent communication skills.
