Job Title: Clinical Psychologist - Bariatric Surgery

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our specialist bariatric surgery service at Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Kent.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work as a clinical psychologist within a multi-disciplinary team to provide psychological assessment and intervention to patients undergoing bariatric surgery.
  • Develop and deliver psychological interventions to support patients in achieving weight loss and improving their overall health.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Conduct psychological assessments and formulate treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide supervision and support to junior staff members.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate in clinical psychology from a BPS-accredited course.
  • HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist.
  • Post-doctoral training in one or more specialist areas of psychological practice.
  • Experience of working as a clinical psychologist in physical health.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
