Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking skilled and driven business-oriented technologists who possess a unique blend of business acumen, strong interpersonal abilities, and a solid understanding of the following domains: analytics/big data, machine learning, and generative artificial intelligence.

This position will concentrate on assisting clients in enhancing their business or operational results through the application of advanced and emerging technologies.


In this role, you will collaborate with clients, AWS Sales, AWS service teams, AWS industry teams, and AWS Professional Services delivery teams to design industry-specific initiatives that cater to customer needs and can be extended to other clients within the same sector and related fields.

You will utilize and refine a systematic approach to help clients improve their business metrics across a range of industry-specific requirements.

As a trusted advocate for customers, the Generative AI Strategist will evaluate and provide best practices regarding program execution, project methodologies, and business performance measurement.

The capability to link business value to a scalable, repeatable, and adaptable strategy is essential for the Strategist role.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate alignment between customer technologists and business leaders; assist them in exploring the potential of generative AI and machine learning, and in developing a roadmap to deliver business value effectively.
  • Engage in discussions about complex, industry-specific business concepts with executives, line managers, and technologists.
  • Collaborate with various AWS teams, including applied scientists, solutions architects, business development, marketing, industry specialists, partners, and regional organizations.
  • Lead large, intricate sales opportunities from ideation through vision development and scoping, all the way to closure and implementation.
  • Conduct workshop sessions to identify opportunities with clients on how they can deliver business value through generative AI or machine learning.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of professional or military experience

  • 5+ years of experience in the industry as a machine learning practitioner or executive.
  • Experience in the sales lifecycle (directly or indirectly).
  • Background in management consulting or related fields.
  • Experience in launching technically complex programs, projects, or related work involving big data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
  • Proficiency in writing communications such as strategy papers or white papers.
  • Involvement in the product management and marketing lifecycles (directly or indirectly).
  • Experience presenting to audiences of 5 to 50 individuals across various levels (from developers to executives) and backgrounds (business, technical, operations).
  • Passion for educating, training, designing, and building solutions for a diverse and challenging set of clients ranging from midsized organizations to Fortune 100 companies.
  • Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MS).
