About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Loss Adjuster to join our team at Adjusting Appointments Limited. As a Senior Loss Adjuster, you will be responsible for managing complex claims and providing expert surveying reports to various parties involved in the claim.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and report on losses that are the subject of an insurance claim, providing factual and technical information to insurers, policyholders, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits to investigate loss circumstances and damage sustained, working in partnership with local authorities, solicitors, and emergency services as required.
  • Liaise with repair contractors to ensure assessment and reporting of settlement options and recommendations are communicated effectively.
  • Work closely with the Major and Complex Loss team to provide expert advice and guidance on complex claims.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of claims.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Surveyor - MRICS, MCIOB or similar, with a background in insurance or building reinstatement of damaged buildings.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with building construction and building regulations.
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge and experience with approved structural repair methods, cost valuation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Computer literate with MS Office suite and ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Willingness to travel to site investigations, with occasional overnight stays if required.
