Warehouse Operations Manager

About Your Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Team Manager to join our Distribution site, where we have an onsite population of over 1000 colleagues working across a 24/7 operation.
Your role will be to engage and communicate with your team to ensure efficient operations in areas such as goods in, pick and loading. You will leverage your expertise in managing fast-paced FMCG logistics or warehouse teams to drive performance and deliver exceptional customer service.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and coaching talent within your team to drive growth and improvement.
- Setting targets and reviewing progress, creating plans to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Identifying and implementing solutions to operational problems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitoring and delivering key performance indicators (KPIs) and taking action to ensure they are met.
To succeed in this role, you will be a true people person with excellent communication skills, able to operate at pace and think creatively. You will also meet the following requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics FMCG environment.
- Team management experience is desirable but not essential.
