Position Overview

Objective:

This vital role involves executing scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks across various locations. The main aim is to perform non-technical repairs and minor planned preventive maintenance (PPM). Additionally, you will support the execution of scheduled and urgent maintenance, as well as electrical and mechanical operations at different sites.

All tasks must be carried out to the highest standards efficiently and cost-effectively, while adhering to all Health and Safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

Team Engagement

  • Promote our organizational culture, values, and behaviors

  • Participate in training sessions as required by the organization

Operational Excellence

  • Prioritize and complete minor maintenance and repair tasks within agreed timelines
  • Fulfill all necessary PPM and urgent maintenance schedules punctually, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.
  • Respond swiftly and positively to service requests from the Helpdesk, assessing job requirements and executing repairs as needed.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment necessary for minor maintenance and repairs are available and in good working condition at all times.
  • While primarily assigned to a specific area for PPM completion, you may occasionally be required to assist at other sites within the organization.
  • Collaborate with company and client colleagues to maintain established quality standards consistently.
  • Represent the organization professionally at all times and foster strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Assist other technicians/teams with both major and minor maintenance tasks.
  • Complete all tasks in alignment with specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor and update the job management system, including real-time job updates
  • You may be required to perform minor plumbing tasks; experience in plumbing, whether commercial or residential, would be beneficial.

Compliance and Communication

  • Adhere to the company's Health and Safety Policy at all times.
  • Complete all mandatory online training and compliance modules.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Ensure all expenditures are pre-approved

  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks and/or responsibilities as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum education of GCSE / Standard Grade level.
  • Any relevant trade qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Prior experience in building maintenance is essential.
  • Capability to maintain and repair various equipment.
  • Quality of repairs and maintenance work.
  • Efficiency and speed of work.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient PC skills - both Apple and Android platforms.
  • Timely response to service requests
  • Achievement of PPM schedules within set timelines
  • Adherence to Health and Safety policies
  • Positive relationships and feedback from clients and colleagues
  • Valid driving license
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
