Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optical Assistant to join our team. As an Optical Assistant, you will be responsible for dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispensing spectacles to all levels
  • Conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches
  • Carrying out frame styling and giving patients advice on options
  • Reception duties and general admin
  • Helping with the smooth running of the practice

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience as an Optical Assistant, preferably within another independent opticians
  • Ability to dispense to all levels
  • Friendly and personable demeanor
  • Strong personal work ethic
  • Customer-focused approach to work
  • Good communication skills
  • Well-presented
